1. Who we are

saasintelli operates a campus placement platform that lets colleges submit student profiles and CVs, lets students track their application status, and lets us share curated candidate information with recruitment consultancy partners. For the data described here, saasintelli acts as the data controller. You can reach us at info@saasintelli.com.

2. What data we collect

2.1 Data submitted by colleges

When a placement officer uploads a batch, they submit the following about each student:

• Identity and contact details — name, roll number, email address, phone number
• Academic details — course, branch, graduation year, CGPA
• The student's curriculum vitae, as a PDF or Word document

Colleges are responsible for having a lawful basis to share this data with us, and for informing their students that it has been shared.

2.2 Data you give us directly

• Account details — name, email, phone number, and for placement officers, designation and college affiliation ID
• Verification data — one-time codes sent to your email during sign-in
• Payment records — for students, the amount, transaction identifiers and payment status returned by our payment processor
• Correspondence — anything you send us through the contact form or by email

2.3 Data collected automatically

• A session cookie that keeps you signed in
• Basic technical information such as IP address and browser type, recorded in server logs

We do not collect payment card details. Card data is entered directly with our payment processor and never reaches our servers.

3. Why we use it

• To operate the platform — creating accounts, verifying identity, keeping you signed in, and showing you the data relevant to your role.
• To facilitate placements — reviewing student batches and sharing curated candidate profiles with recruitment consultancy partners. This is the core purpose students' data is collected for.
• To process payments — taking and recording the student premium payment.
• To communicate — sending verification codes, account approval notices, and responses to your enquiries.
• To keep the service secure — rate-limiting sign-in attempts, detecting abuse, and maintaining an audit trail of data handoffs.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use student data to serve advertising.

4. Who we share it with

• Recruitment consultancy partners — we share candidate profiles and CVs with named consultancy partners for the purpose of recruitment. Every such handoff is logged with a timestamp and the recipient's identity.
• The student's own college — a placement officer can see the students their college submitted, and those students' application status. They cannot see any other college's data.
• Service providers — we use third parties to host the platform, store files, send email and process payments. They act on our instructions and only for the purposes above.
• Legal requirements — where we are required to disclose data by law, or to protect our rights, safety or property.

5. Where your data is stored

Platform data is stored in managed cloud infrastructure, and CV files in access-controlled object storage. Some of our service providers process data outside India; where that happens, we rely on the provider's contractual safeguards for international transfers.

6. How long we keep it

• Student profiles and CVs — retained while the student may benefit from placement activity, and deleted on verified request unless we are required to keep them.
• One-time codes — expire after five minutes and are retained only briefly for abuse detection.
• Sessions — expire automatically and are removed when you sign out.
• Payment records — retained as long as tax and accounting rules require.

7. How we protect it

• Sign-in is passwordless — there is no password on the platform to be stolen or reused.
• One-time codes are stored only as salted hashes, never in readable form.
• Session tokens are stored as hashes, so a database copy alone cannot be replayed as a login.
• Access is scoped by role — placement officers are restricted to their own college, and bulk export is restricted to our admin team.
• Data is transmitted over encrypted connections.

No system is perfectly secure, but we take these measures seriously and review them as the platform grows.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you can ask us to:

• Give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete
• Delete your data, where we have no continuing need or legal duty to keep it
• Restrict or object to particular uses of your data
• Withdraw consent where our use relies on it

Write to info@saasintelli.com and we will respond within a reasonable period. We may need to verify your identity first.

Students: corrections to your academic details or CV should go through your placement office, since they are the source of that record. They can submit an updated batch, which refreshes your profile.

9. Children

The platform is intended for students in higher education and is not directed at children under 16. If you believe a child's data has been submitted to us, contact us and we will remove it.

10. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies, described in our Cookie Policy.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the platform changes. The “last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version, and we will notify account holders by email about material changes.
