saasintelli was built after watching the same problem repeat at campus after campus: placement cells collecting hundreds of CVs into shared folders, recruiters receiving inconsistent spreadsheets, and students left with no idea where their application stood.

The problem we kept seeing
A placement season starts with a spreadsheet. By the time it ends, that spreadsheet has been emailed a dozen times, renamed twice, and no longer matches the folder of CVs it was supposed to accompany.
Recruiters get sent whatever version arrived last. Students who submitted their documents in September are still asking in December whether anything happened. And the placement officer — usually one person, often part-time — is the only bottleneck holding it together.
None of that is a people problem. It is a tooling problem, and it is entirely solvable.

Principles we build against
These aren't posters on a wall — they're the reasons the product works the way it does.
Candidate data is borrowed, not owned
Students share their CV to get placed, not to be resold. Bulk export is restricted to our admin team, every consultancy forward is logged, and colleges can only ever see their own students.
Transparency by default
If a student's application has moved, they should be able to see it without asking anyone. Status changes are timestamped and visible to the person they affect.
Validation before submission
It's far cheaper to catch a malformed email or an unmatched CV at upload time than three weeks later, when a recruiter reports the file won't open.
Priced to be affordable
Colleges pay nothing to onboard. Students pay once, for lifetime access — not a subscription that lapses the moment they most need it.
